Perspectives from Within (PFW) is an exhibition series curated by Obafemi Ogunleye as a platform for exhibiting new works from an emergent generation of photographers that are shaping the field of contemporary African art. The main purpose of the series is to advance the practice of African stories being told by Africans through the medium of photography.
Each exhibition edition contains a number of thought-provoking images from African photographers that provide unique perspectives on past, present, and future affairs. By exhibiting the selected projects, PFW amplifies important conversations that need to be had with the expectation of fostering cross-cultural exchange amongst our artists and audience.
