Perspectives from Within (PFW) is an exhibition series established by Òlàjú Art Group as a platform for exhibiting new works from an emergent generation of photographers that are shaping the field of contemporary African art. The main purpose of the series is to advance the practice of African stories being told by Africans through the medium of photography.
Each exhibition edition contains a number of thought-provoking images from photographers that provide unique perspectives on past, present, and future affairs. By exhibiting the selected works, PFW seeks to amplify important topics and ideas concerning African experiences with the expectation of fostering cross-cultural exchange between the artists and viewers involved.
